United States – Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09) worked across the aisle this week to provide critical resources for Luke Air Force Base and improve health care for Arizona veterans. Sinema helped pass H.R. 5895, which funds the construction and operations of military bases, including Luke Air Force Base in Glendale. The bill also funds mental health and suicide prevention programs for veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs, among other provisions.
Congresswoman Sinema also helped secure provisions in the bill to block a pay raise for members of Congress and prepare the VA to care for the next generation of veterans.
