SINGAPORE | World stocks slip as US-China talks end with no quick fixes
SINGAPORE — Jan 10, 2019—World markets retreated on Thursday after U.S. and Chinese officials wrapped up three days of trade talks in Beijing without significant breakthroughs.
KEEPING SCORE: In Europe, Germany‘s DAX dipped 0.6 percent to 10,827.31 and France’s CAC 40 was 1 percent lower at 4,766.42.
Britain’s FTSE 100 lost 0.5 percent to 6,872.92. Wall Street was set for early losses. The broad S&P 500 futures lost 0.7 percent to 2,564.50.
