Say Aloha to Newest Bad Ass Coffee Franchise

The coffee brand is set to open the latest franchise location by 2022.

Phoenix, AZ  (RestaurantNews.comBad Ass Coffee, a Hawaiian-based coffee shop, has sold its latest franchise location.

Brian McCallister is the newest franchise partner to join the network of owners, marking the 50th location for the brand. There are 35 total currently in operation. The unit will be located in Phoenix, Arizona. “Brian is a seasoned entrepreneur who is very excited for the opportunity,” asserted Kyle Gjersee, Director of Franchise Sales. “He doesn’t have a background in coffee, which really testifies to the versatility of the Bad Ass Coffee model. Anyone with business knowledge and an understanding of operations can operate this and be successful.”

The new franchise is set for a target opening of early 2022. Meanwhile, franchise sales continue to pick up. “We are beyond excited for the continued momentum of the Bad Ass Coffee brand here in the States,” stated Gjersee. “We have a really great offering here, complete with support, training, and a well-established brand. This market may be competitive, but Bad Ass Coffee possesses that stubborn drive that has destined them for a wide spread national presence.”

Bad Ass Coffee first got its start in Hawaii in 1989, selling American-grown, high-end Kona Coffee, sourcing from Kauai, Waialua (Oahu), and Maui. In 1995, the company was brought to the mainland by B.J. Bilanzich and began franchising. The next big evolution came in 2019 when Bad Ass Coffee was purchased by Royal Aloha Coffee, LLC who updated the brand by 2020.

Franchise territories are currently available in several markets throughout the U.S. The opportunity includes ongoing support, site selection assistance, construction and built out resources, marketing support, and more.
