Groundbreaking fast-casual brand to introduce tangy and spicy chicken option for a limited time starting Oct. 3
Irvine, CA (RestaurantNews.com) With its passion for creating healthy and innovative poke, Pokeworks is relying on its Asian culinary roots as inspiration for its latest fresh dish – featuring its chef-driven, proprietary chili crisp oil sauce.
From Oct. 3 through Dec. 31, Pokeworks fans can enjoy its exclusive Bang Bang Chicken Bowl featuring the highest quality ingredients. The new recipe showcases a mouthwatering spicy flavor profile derived from Sichuan cuisine. The chef-curated dish includes a proprietary mix of Chili Garlic Chicken dressed with chili crisp oil, fresh cucumbers, edamame, cilantro and Pokeworks’ own Umami Shoyu topped off with spicy Thai chilies, green onion, and sesame seeds.
The special, limited-time offering will be available in a regular bowl or burrito for $12.95 or a large bowl or burrito for $15.75. Plus, Pokeworks’ Chili Garlic Chicken is a delicious addition to any fall meal, available as an option on any Poke Your Way bowl, burrito or salad.
“This dish connects us to the Sichuan heritage of some of our founders,” said Pokeworks Chief Marketing Officer Jayson Tipp. “Sichuan pepper is an important spice in Chinese culture and other related cuisines so we’re excited to share this distinctive flavor in our newest creation — Bang Bang Chicken. By pairing our craveable chili crisp oil sauce – which became the ‘it’ condiment of the pandemic –with Chili Garlic Chicken and other fresh, high-quality ingredients, we hope to provide a new must-try dish for our fans and another delicious way to Poke Your Way this fall.”
