PHOENIX | Family says it will care for baby born to comatose woman
PHOENIX —Jan 09, 2019—The family of an Arizona woman in a vegetative state for years who became pregnant and had a baby said it would care for the child but angrily pressed for answers as the search for her rapist intensified.
Police served a search warrant Tuesday to get DNA from all male employees at a long-term care facility in Phoenix. Owner Hacienda HealthCare said it welcomed the step.
“We will continue to cooperate with Phoenix police and all other investigative agencies to uncover the facts in this deeply disturbing, but unprecedented situation,” the company said in a statement.
