Federal funds will support district drug courts across Missouri, including Kansas City, Northern, and Eastern Missouri
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, who created one of the first drug courts in the country while serving as Jackson County Prosecutor, announced that over $1 million in federal funds will head to drug courts across Missouri, including Kansas City, Northern, and Eastern Missouri. Drug courts are designed to help address the unique needs of those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction as non-violent offenders.
