Indiana News: South Bend Man, Marvin Tobar Sentenced To 64 Months In Prison For Felon in Possession of a Firearm
SOUTH BEND, Ia. – Marvin Tobar, age 29, of South Bend, Indiana, was sentenced before South Bend District Court Judge Jon E. DeGuilio for possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony offense, announced U.S. Attorney Kirsch.
Tobar was sentenced to 64 months in prison followed by 1 year of supervised release.
According to documents in this case, on the afternoon of April 22, 2018, Tobar stood in the road in a neighborhood in South Bend and fired twenty (20) rounds from a .223 caliber rifle.
