America’s Iconic Fast Food Chain Chick-Fil-A Heads to the City

St. Louis City Anxiously Awaits Its First Stand-Alone Chick-Fil-A

St. Louis, MO/January 9, 2017 (STL.News) –In just a few short days, St. Louis City will be graced with its very own stand-alone Chick-fil-A.  The iconic Atlanta-based quick-service chicken chain will make its new home on the northwest corner of Hampton and Chippewa at 3801 Hampton.  This will make the 7th St. Louis Chick-fil-A location.

This is great news for “cult followers” inside the city limits who in the past have had to travel to Brentwood for their coveted Chick-fil-A fix.  When the chain’s newest restaurant opens on January 11, it will feature a vintage-inspired interior using recovered wood and light fixtures made from reused Coca-Cola bottles and peach baskets.

The nearly 4,900-square-foot Lindenwood Park location will include a dining room comprised of a two-story interactive indoor play area that will seat 120, plus an additional 24 on the patio.  Franchise owner and operator, Nick Pyatt, is currently still hiring and expects to hire close to 100 employees at the new restaurant.

Chick-fil-A has long been known for its somewhat unconventional yet outstanding grand openings awarding a year’s supply of Chick-fil-A to the first 100 eligible adults in line on opening morning.  It all begins at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, when guests can start lining up for a 24-hour camp out.
Should more than 100 people turn up for the initial line, a raffle will be held to determine who will be allowed to stay.  According to Pyatt, there will be external heating equipment onsite and those camping out in the freezing temperatures will be able to go inside for three meals and occasionally for hot chocolate and coffee to warm up.  More details on the 100 camp-out promotion and eligible zip codes can be found online.

Thanks to Chick-fil-A’s extremely devoted fans, the company’s “True Loyalty” score was ninth in the Top 10 Nation’s Restaurant News annual Consumer Picks survey that ranks 126 restaurant chains.  All the restaurant chains in the survey vary widely in menu, atmosphere and service style, but the most dynamic ones all manage to create a deep connection with their diners.  The Consumer Picks report calculates that all-important X factor with a metric called True Loyalty.  Find more information online:
